Nottingham Forest News can exclusively reveal that Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula are in the sights of the club this summer, and talks are ongoing.

News came out last night that Forest were lining up a move for Weah and Mbangula from Juventus.

Firepower is very much the order of the day for the Reds this summer, with Igor Jesus joining Forest after the Club World Cup is over for Botafogo.

Now, things look to be ramping up when it comes to the recruitment drive, with Forest set to play in the UEFA Conference League next season.

Nottingham Forest and Juventus in talks over Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula

We’ve had some information from transfer guru Graeme Bailey that the Forest interest in Weah and Mbangula is legitimate.

He exclusively told Nottingham Forest News that both players are the subject of talks between the two clubs, and things are progressing.

Weah is the son of legendary striker George Weah, whilst Mbangula is a Belgian prodigy who made nine goal contributions in the Juventus team last season.

Forest are moving quickly to sign the pair of wingers who can also play up front, with the Reds desperate to bolster their front line before the new campaign.

Forest linked with Jordan Henderson move

Things are definitely heating up behind the scenes at the City Ground, with Henderson linked with a move to the club earlier today.

It does feel like an intriguing link, with Henderson allowed to leave on a free transfer this summer, with Ajax placing a clause in his contract when they signed him.

Sunderland have also been linked with Henderson and a move to the Premier League feels like a logical option if he does decide to leave the Dutch giants this summer.

Forest have a plethora of midfield options, however, and it would be a surprise if this proved to be a viable option for the Reds during this window.
