Nottingham Forest have been pretty busy this summer transfer window.
Nuno Espirito Santo is about to make Igor Jesus his first signing, with the Brazilian striker completing his medical.
Jesus’ Botafogo teammate Jair Cunha is also in talks to join Forest, however, that deal isn’t as advanced at this stage.
Forest are exploring a deal to sign Lyon’s Georges Mikautadze, too, who is thought to be available for around £21m.
On the outgoing front, there is movement as Jota Silva is attracting interest from Sporting. Now there is a fresh development on that potential transfer away from Nottingham Forest.

How much Nottingham Forest want to sell Jota Silva
Nottingham Forest signed Jota Silva from Portuguese top-flight club Vitoria last summer, paying around £5.9m for his signature.
The 25-year-old had just come off the back of a stellar season, netting 15 goals whilst laying on seven assists.
However, Jota hasn’t been able to replicate that same level in England and is now keen to secure a return to Portugal.
Jota’s former manager Rui Borges wants to reunite with him at Sporting and now, according to O Jogo, Forest are willing to sanction his sale for around £11.5m.
That would return a pretty healthy profit for Evangelos Marinakis.
Forest could replace Jota with Pepe
Forest appear to be lining up an immediate replacement for Jota, as they’re showing an interest in Porto winger Pepe.
That’s according to ESPN, who claim the East Midlanders have opened talks to sign the 28-year-old after it’s become apparent that Porto are considering a sale.
They believe they can make a good profit on the £13.1m they paid Gremio in 2021, so it seems if personal terms can be agreed, there is serious legs to this deal.
Pepe registered a commendable 10 goal involvements for the Portuguese giants last term.
