Nottingham Forest could very quickly be in the market for a player to replace Morgan Gibbs-White.
The Reds’ talismanic number 10 is making flirtatious glances with Tottenham, it would seem – or rather his agent is – and that could mean a departure this summer.
Gibbs-White has been outstanding for Forest for three seasons, but quite clearly, he would now like to play Champions League football.
In a World Cup year, Gibbs-White won’t want any more England setbacks, and he naturally will want to test himself in the best European club competition.

Jacob Ramsey attracting other interest after Forest links
Earlier this week, it was announced that Forest want Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa.
He’s actually a friend of Gibbs-White’s from their time together with the England under-21 setup and Forest want him as a replacement should the number 10 leave.
However, according to The Telegraph, Forest aren’t alone in the race to land the Villa star, with Everton and West Ham also keen.
The price tag in excess of £30 million is likely to deter the Hammers but David Moyes is showing ambitions with Everton and that represents a minor concern.
Villa are willing to let Ramsey leave this summer and Forest will now need to be careful with the race heating up.
Ramsey could be ideal for Forest
This is the sort of signing that might just ease the worries of the Forest fan base.
A lack of signings has led to the panic alarms being rung in some sections of the support, but there is still a bit of time on the side of Forest.
The Reds are hoping to get quality over quantity once again and unfortunately, that can see deals take a little bit of time.
Ramsey fits the profile of a Forest signing down to the ground and he can play in a number of positions.
If an initial fee of around £30 million can be agreed, it would represent a sound investment for the future and give Forest a player capable of helping Nuno Espirito Santo progress.
Hopefully, these Ramsey rumours are true and the other clubs are being mentioned to try and tempt Forest into making the first play for his signature this summer.
