Nottingham Forest are working hard on signing new players this summer in the wake of Morgan Gibbs-White penning a new contract at the City Ground.
Gibbs-White officially turned down the advances of Tottenham by signing a new three-year deal with the Reds, ending a summer of intense speculation.
Forest have sold Anthony Elanga this summer and losing the number 10 would have been seriously detrimental to the club going into the new Premier League campaign.
Forest are working on a replacement for Elanga as a matter of urgency and in Dan Ndoye, Forest might just have identified the player they really want to land.

What Fabrizio Romano has said about Dan Ndoye to Nottingham Forest
On Saturday, it was claimed that Forest were going to make a second bid for Ndoye and that it would be coming very shortly.
Now, Romano has delivered some more information on the developing transfer saga, suggesting that Ndoye is extremely keen on moving to Forest.
He said on his YouTube channel: “Nottingham Forest have a full agreement with Dan Ndoye and from what I understand, he wants to go there and is pushing quite strongly to go there too.”
Forest need to get serious with Ndoye
When it comes to signing Ndoye, Forest should simply pay the money and get this one over the line to get their Elanga replacement sorted out.
At 24, Ndoye fits the profile of a quality Forest signing and after scoring nine goals and claiming six assists last season, he looks capable of playing in a top European league.
Forest might well find themselves overpaying for Ndoye but with European football on the cards this season, it might not be the worst thing in the world for Nuno Espirito Santo.
Ndoye looks tailor-made to come in and replace Elanga and these comments from Romano will certainly provide some excitement for the Forest fan base.
