Nottingham Forest are going in search of some new players but today, the squad continues to be streamlined.
Nuno Espirito Santo likes to work with smaller squads and right now, Forest are very light on the ground.
Anthony Elanga has signed for Newcastle this summer, with Ramon Sosa and Danilo also leaving from last season’s first-team squad.
Lewis O’Brien has signed for Wrexham during the window, and it appears that the decks will continue to be cleared ahead of the new season.

Nottingham Forest player Matt Turner now set to leave
According to L’Equipe, Turner is now set to leave Forest but the situation is extremely bizarre.
Turner agreed to join Lyon for a fee in the region of £8 million when John Textor was still the owner of the Ligue 1 outfit.
Lyon tried to cancel the transfer but their attempts have been unsuccessful and they’re going to offload Turner immediately once he becomes their player.
The 31-year-old will be heading to New England Revolution, where he began his professional career, and Lyon will stump up his wages.
Getting Turner out of the door is great business from a Forest perspective, and now the Reds can put those funds towards their own recruitment drive.
Gary Neville slammed Matt Turner
Turner was the number one goalkeeper when Nuno Espirito Santo arrived at the club, but that soon changed.
One of the reasons for the change in personnel between the posts was due to a series of errors, with a particularly bad one coming in a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
After that game, Neville called Turner ‘useless’ when it came to playing out from the back with his feet, and he had a point.
In the modern era, goalkeepers have to be able to play out from the back, and sadly, Turner was always found wanting when it came to that attribute.
