Nottingham Forest are in talks to sign RC Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa this summer transfer window.
Forest have submitted an improved bid worth £27m for Dilane Bakwa, however, the Ligue 1 outfit are looking for an offer closer to the £30m mark.
The two clubs aren’t far from reaching an agreement, so it seems this deal could materialise in the coming days.
The 22-year-old wide player could even join before Nottingham Forest’s Premier League opener against Brentford on Sunday.
A well-respected analyst has now made an exciting prediction about the potential new signing.

Nottingham Forest told Dilane Bakwa will ‘explode’ under Nuno Espirito Santo
Bakwa’s athleticism and ability to take on his full-back suits Nuno’s counter-attacking style down to a tee, and he’d be a like-for-like replacement for Anthony Elanga.
Esteemed analyst Counter Pressers has predicted Bakwa to ‘explode’ under Nuno and is pretty surprised none of the big six clubs have moved to land his signature.
The tactics guru has also predicted the Frenchman to get at least 12-15 goal involvements last season, which puts him in a similar territory to Elanga.
Callum Hudson-Odoi got eight last year, for context, so there’s certainly a lot of hype and excitement around Bakwa.
Bakwa’s impressive underlying data
Bakwa’s underlying data evinces exactly why Forest are desperate to bring him to the City Ground.
According to FBref, the 2002-born ranks in the top four per cent for progressive carries per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe.
He also sits in the top one per cent for shot-creating actions, which amplifies his elite playmaking abilities.
The statistics suggest he’s of a very similar profile to new Liverpool signing Jeremy Frimpong, who scored in the Community Shield final last weekend.
