Nottingham Forest are now trying to sign another Fulham star instead of Adama Traore.
It’s now unlikely that Adama Traore will be joining Nottingham Forest this summer, with the two clubs clearly not able to agree a fee.
Traore was keen on a move to the City Ground as he wanted to reunite with his former manager Nuno Espirito Santo, but the Tricky Trees have now moved on.
Forest are exploring a deal to sign Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town in a deal believed to be worth around £40m.
RC Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa is also on Nuno’s radar, and now there has been a fresh update on another wide player who’s actually at Craven Cottage.

Nottingham Forest slap down contract offer to Fulham’s Macaulay Zepa
After failing to advance in talks for Traore, Nottingham Forest have now turned to teenage wide player Macaulay Zepa, according to The Standard.
The 17-year-old, who was on the books of Chelsea and Arsenal, is highly rated by Fulham coaches after excelling with the under-18s last season.
Zepa has been fast-tracked to 21s football and actually scored off the bench for them on Tuesday, so he’s progressing really well.
The Frenchman wants to leave the Cottagers and has already rejected a new contract, prompting Forest to slap down a long-term deal.
Bournemouth are also circling but if Forest can offer him a clear pathway to the first team, they would likely take pole position, given European football is on the horizon.
Macaulay Zepa stats at youth level
Zepa registered a whopping 18 goal involvements for Fulham’s youth team last term, which is pretty significant given the fewer games played at that age.
The 2008-born predominantly operates as a right-winger, which is the position on the pitch that Nuno is desperate to strengthen in.
So perhaps that does suggest Zepa, if he were to join, would be afforded game time, especially since Forest are in four competitions this season.
Of course, given he’s yet to make his senior debut, there would be a bedding-in process with the reserves first and foremost.
