Nottingham Forest have been linked with Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town in the last 24 hours.
Hutchinson is about to start the Championship season with the Tractor Boys, and they have rejected £35 million bids from Forest and Brentford.
Forest recently signed Dan Ndoye and more wingers are going to be on the shortlist before the transfer window closes in September.
Anthony Elanga was sold to Newcastle last month and since his departure, Forest have been linked with a number of new wingers, with Nuno Espirito Santo wanting at least four more players.
Now, Forest have another attacking player on the radar with bids starting to be made for a number of players alongside Hutchinson.

Nottingham Forest make an offer for Dilane Bakwa
According to L’Equipe, the Reds have made an opening offer for Strasbourg winger Bakwa with the player now considering his future at the Ligue 1 outfit.
Sadly for the Reds, the first offer hasn’t proved fruitful, with a bid of £24 million rejected, despite Forest including a series of add-ons in the deal.
Forest are set to make a second bid, however, with the Ligue 1 outfit likely to accept a bid that sits somewhere in the region of £28 to £33 million.
Bakwa had a brilliant campaign in 2025/26, scoring six goals and claiming nine assists as Strasbourg enjoyed a decent season under the management of Liam Rosenior.
Bakwa dribbles better than Callum Hudson-Odoi
Forest’s best dribbler is Hudson-Odoi, with the player completing 37 successful ones last year.
Bakwa is even better, with the 22-year-old making 50 during 2025/26 and given the bags of potential he would bring, it looks like a solid deal for Forest to be trying for.
Hutchinson would likely cost a fortune in comparison to Bakwa, who does feel affordable even at the price that Strasbourg want to recoup.
The lively winger would complement the team’s current options just nicely and hopefully Forest can return to the table with a bid that suits Strasbourg and a deal can be struck.
