Nottingham Forest’s incoming signings discover the shirt numbers available to wear

So far this transfer window, Nottingham Forest have brought in four players, and now another three are expected to arrive over the coming weeks.

Dan Ndoye, Angus Gunn, Igor Jesus, and Jair Cunha have already arrived at the City Ground and have been settling in throughout the pre-season.

Now, James McAtee, Arnaud Kalimuendo, and Omari Hutchinson are likely joining, and they will have a big decision ahead of them.

The three players will have to choose their new squad numbers at Nottingham Forest, and they have just learnt which ones are up for grabs.

Nottingham Forest have announced the official numbers of each player in the squad for the upcoming season.

Of course, for any player joining Forest from now until the end of the window, they can now see the full list of their options.

James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson and Arnaud Kalimuendo will certainly be keeping a close eye on the numbers they have at their disposal.

The following shirt numbers are vacant, so it is likely we see some of these being snapped up:

When it comes to available shirt numbers at Nottingham Forest, James McAtee and Arnaud Kalimuendo could be in luck.

While McAtee has worn the no. 87 at Manchester City, when he went on loan to Sheffield United, he chose no. 28, which is currently available at Forest.

Arnaud Kalimuendo has frequently used three different numbers mostly throughout his career. He has worn no. 9, no. 19, and no. 29.

Unfortunately, the first two are not available with Taiwo Awoniyi and Igor Jesus sporting them, but the shirt number he wore at PSG can be picked.

There is also the chance Kalimuendo and McAtee decide on a number they have never had on the back of their shirt before, so we will have to wait for confirmation.

Omari Hutchinson currently wears no. 20 at Ipswich, and besides having no. 56 at Chelsea, he has only ever had his current number, so he will likely need to choose a brand new one.
