Nuno Espirito Santo has showcased a bit of a brutal streak this summer with Nottingham Forest.
Douglas Luiz will be signing number eight for Forest, but it’s been most impressive how the club have managed to get other players out of the club.
Omari Hutchinson signed for Forest over the weekend, with James McAtee also signing for the Reds.
Shortly after the 3-1 win over Brentford, Forest announced Arnaud Kalimuendo and naturally, the new arrivals mean that some players will be deemed surplus.
Jota Silva is expected to leave Forest and almost immediately after it was claimed that Luiz was close to joining the Reds, another departure was announced.

Nottingham Forest sell Marko Stamenic
The Reds have agreed a deal to sell Stamenic to Swansea City, with the Championship outfit paying £2 million for his signature.
It was announced on Wednesday that the New Zealand performer has joined the Swans on a permanent basis, having failed to make an appearance in the Garibaldi during a competitive fixture.
Stamenic did feature in the pre-season campaign for Forest but amid a plethora of new signings, he’s now been allowed to make a move elsewhere.
Perhaps this decision has taken some of the Forest squad a little bit by surprise, with Chris Wood praising his compatriot during an interview recently.
Chris Wood praises Marko Stamenic
Speaking in an interview on the New Zealand Football website, Wood said: “He’s fitted in very well. He’s brought into the dressing room really well and the boys are talking to him, which is great. The boys are seeing his quality, and he shows that he’s got a bit, which could help him play in the Premier League one day.
“He’s been a bit-part player in pre-season but he’s been able to get some minutes, but as not as much as I’m sure he would have liked. But that’s football and that’s pre-season for you. We’re gearing up for the Premier League again and he’s in and around it.”
Stamenic does now feel like a bit of a strange signing made by Forest, given that the club parted with £4 million to bring him to the club last summer and immediately loan him to Olympiacos.
Although the squad were starting to recognise his quality, sometimes it’s just better to let go and clearly the midfielder wasn’t going to play much this season.
Stamenic isn’t a signing that will live long in the memory and now it will be intriguing to see how he does with Swansea.
