Nottingham Forest have already dealt with Juventus this summer over the signing of Douglas Luiz, and it seems they are still in negotiations with them for another player.
Douglas Luiz arrived as Nottingham Forest’s eighth signing of the summer, and work is still being done on adding more new names to the squad.
Two new full-backs seem to be the priority, and RB Leipzig’s Lutsharel Geertruida has popped up as a target at right-back.
However, another name they are targeting is Nicolo Savona, and Juventus have told Nottingham Forest how much it will take to sign him.

Juventus tell Nottingham Forest they want just under £17 million for Nicolo Savona
Nottingham Forest have been told by Juventus that they value Nicolo Savona at just under €20 million (£17 million) as the Italian club look to bring money in.
This is according to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport who also say that Juventus could agree a lower fee if ‘a percentage of the defender’s future resale,’ is included.
Juventus have reportedly already rejected a £9m offer from Forest, and it still remains to be seen if the Garibaldi return to the table for the 22-year-old.
As mentioned before, there is no shortage of options for Nuno Espirito Santo as Lutsharel Geertruida and Nahuel Molina were among names touted for the right-back spot.
Juventus still need to sell due to Douglas Luiz’s Nottingham Forest loan
Unfortunately for Juventus, due to the structure of the Douglas Luiz deal, they still need to bring in some funds.
Douglas Luiz was signed on an initial season-long loan with a £3 million fee, however, it becomes permanent should Luiz make a certain amount of appearances.
Only then will Nottingham Forest have to pay £25 million to sign the Brazilian from Juventus. This makes the prospect of selling Nicolo Savona appealing to the Old Lady.
According to Gazzetta ‘A player like [Savona], a product of the youth system, developed in the Next Gen, and promoted to the first team last year, would bring the club a pure capital gain.’
Juventus are in need of money in order to cover the costs of multiple loans turned obligation to buy that have triggered this summer.
It will be interesting to see if Forest move forward with a deal for Savona, or if they continue onto other targets such as Geertruida.
But the situation that Juventus find themselves in could open up an opportunity to sign a player on a cheaper fee.
