Thomas Tuchel drafts in Nottingham Forest youngster Zach Abbott into England training

The 19-year-old is currently on international duty with England’s under-20s, however, it has just emerged that he’s joined up in training with Tuchel’s squad along with highly-rated Plymouth Argyle youngster Law McCabe.
Evidently, England coaches recognise he’s got the ability to potentially become a senior international and are keen to see how he gets on against the likes of Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford.
Nuno Espirito Santo reckons Zach Abbott has a bright future
Speaking earlier this year, after Forest’s FA Cup defeat to Man City, Nuno heaped praise on Abbott’s performance.
“He did well. He’s a young lad. He played out of position, we all know that,” the Forest boss told Nottinghamshire Live.
“But, we are really proud of the way he competed against such good players and the way he handled himself. He’s going to have a bright future ahead of him.”
Andy Reid has actually been working with Abbott to ensure he develops at the right pace and breaks into the Forest first-team.
Experience with the England first-team will only accelerate his progress.
