Nottingham Forest return to action on Wednesday evening as they take on Swansea City in the Carabao Cup.
Ange Postecoglou has been in post for a week, and is already preparing to manage his second game in charge.
The Nottingham Forest manager has insisted that it won’t take long to implement his philosophy, so it should be on display tomorrow.
“No mate, it will not be weeks — it will be Wednesday,” Postecoglou explained. “I cannot afford to waste time. This is not a project. This club had a strong season and it needs to be stronger this year.”
With that said, ahead of the trip to South Wales, we’ve made three bold predictions for the game.

Three bold predictions for Nottingham Forest vs Swansea City
Dilane Bakwa will score a brace
Dilane Bakwa really impressed on his Forest debut against Arsenal, despite only making a 30-minute cameo from the bench.
Bakwa looked a level above on the ball, so it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see him open up his Forest account with a couple of goals against Swansea.
The 23-year-old started the season with a goal and three assists with Strasbourg, so he’s full of confidence at the moment.
Douglas Luiz to run the midfield
Douglas Luiz hasn’t played a single minute for Nottingham Forest yet, so Postecoglou will likely hand him his debut on Wednesday.
Luiz is suited to a possession-based style of play, which makes him the perfect midfielder for Postecoglou.
He could run the show in South Wales and really kickstart his career with the Tricky Trees.
James McAtee gets a couple of assists
Like Luiz and Bakwa, McAtee could get his full debut after impressing from the substitutes bench this season.
Forest supporters waxed lyrical about McAtee’s debut against Crystal Palace last month, and there have been calls for him to replace Morgan Gibbs-White.
The former Manchester City playmaker could get a couple of assists at Swansea, and that’ll give Postecoglou a lot to think about ahead of the trip to Burnley on the weekend.
