Tim Sherwood has shared what he believes Ange Postecoglou must do to be a success at Nottingham Forest.
The Australian has set big targets for his tenure. He has come in and said he wants to bring trophies to the City Ground, a feat that has not been reached since the 90s.
The 60-year-old has already proven he can end trophy droughts during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, and he has the chance to win the very same competition with Nottingham Forest.
The Tricky Trees are big favourites to lift the Europa League, and they continue their campaign on Wednesday night against Real Betis.
However, before that fixture, they did travel to Turf Moor, where they competed in a 1-1 draw.
It was a disappointing result, but Tim Sherwood remains confident of Ange Postecoglou’s abilities as a head coach.

Tim Sherwood delivers verdict on what Ange Postecoglou needs to do
Tim Sherwood was appearing on Sky Sports Fan Club and was asked if he believes Ange Postecoglou is the right man for Nottingham Forest.
In response to the question, Sherwood said, “I think he will be; I really do. I think he will settle into it; he just needs a win to get some confidence and get some new players in January to help out that squad.
“I think Ange is the right fit. If you want to win trophies, employ Postecoglou.”
Sherwood’s comments come at a time when Ange Postecoglou has been told he is already under pressure.

The Australian is still without a win after three matches in charge, and he’ll have a chance to change that against Real Betis.
One Betis attacker will be looking to continue his great record vs Forest.
Meanwhile, the Garibaldi’s head coach will need to be wary of one thing about the opposition.
Ange Postecoglou’s trophy record, as Sherwood highlighted, was one of the defining reasons behind his appointment, and despite the pundit suggesting January reinforcements are needed, the head coach already has a great squad.
The Nottingham Forest squad is already in good shape
The point of Ange needing to bring new players in is interesting considering the summer that Nottingham Forest just had.
However, it might not be needed. The Forest squad already has a deep roster, and each position has multiple quality players.
The number of players available is highlighted by record signing Omari Hutchinson being left out of the Europa League squad.
Evangelos Marinakis is said to be interested in a Brazilian defender ahead of January, but whether that report rings true remains to be seen.
Ange Postecoglou’s squad is in good shape right now, and bringing in even more players is not a priority, at least for now.
