Nottingham Forest kick off their Europa League campaign away at Real Betis on Wednesday night.

Ange Postecoglou is still awaiting his first win since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo as Nottingham Forest manager.

Betis head into the game off the back of just one defeat in six La Liga games, so they’re probably the favourites in this one.

Forest, meanwhile, have lost two in the Premier League and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Championship outfit Swansea City.

Here is Opta Supercomputer’s prediction for the game.

Supercomputer predicts Nottingham Forest vs Real Betis

Postecoglou is in desperate need of a win, as already, there are a few question marks hanging over the former Tottenham manager.

So, there is a little bit of pressure to at least avoid defeat at Betis because another defeat would really ramp up the criticism.

The supercomputer has Forest as the more likely team to win, however, it’s very close, as they’ve given them a 38% chance.

Betis have a 35% chance and a draw is 26%, so the technology has it almost dead even with the two sides perhaps cancelling each other out.

Giovani Lo Celso the dangerman to watch out for

Forest fans will be familiar with Real Betis playmaker Giovani Lo Celso as he used to play in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

Lo Celso is the dangerman to watch out for as since returning to Spain, he has become one of the best playmakers on the continent.

“Under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini at Real Betis, Lo Celso has re-established himself as one of Europe’s best attacking midfielders,” BreakingTheLines wrote.

The Argentina international netted eight goals whilst laying on three assists in just 15 starts last term, so Elliot Anderson and Douglas Luiz will have to be disciplined.
