Dan Ndoye made the summer switch to Nottingham Forest from Bologna in the summer, and the Swiss international had a decent start to life in England.
The Tricky Trees fended off Antonio Conte, who was desperate for Ndoye to sign for Napoli in the last transfer window.
Under Nuno Espirito Santo, Ndoye scored and then assisted in his opening two games in the Garibaldi shirt.
Ange Postecoglou then arrived, playing a totally different style and the winger has not yet quite hit those same heights.
It is still early in the season, and the initial performances show that the player possesses a lot of quality.
Making the move from Italy to England could have had an adaptation period, but Dan Ndoye hit the ground running, and he has now shared what he has found different between the two countries’ leagues.

Dan Ndoye says what he has found different between the Premier League and Serie A
In an interview with Swiss outlet 20 Minuten, Ndoye opened up about what he has noticed about the Premier League compared to his time at Bologna.
“Serie A is a very tactical league. Here, you practically don’t have a second to stop and think during the game.
“Everyone gives it their all, 100 per cent, for 90 minutes. Everything is much faster—even the challenges are tougher. The Premier League is the most demanding league in the world, and now I understand why.”
Ndoye is now part of one of the most demanding tactical systems in the Premier League under Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian likes to press high, set his backline high, and constantly play in the opposition’s half, and Ange admitted his attacking players need time to adjust to his demands.
It requires a lot of work from the players, and Ndoye has also opened up on what he must still learn about English football.
Dan Ndoye shares that he is still learning what to do in the Premier League
While he looked to have adapted straight away in his opening two games, Ndoye insists that he still has much to learn about Premier League football.
The Swiss international highlighted multiple areas where he must improve in order to become a better player in England’s top flight.
Ndoye said, “I’ve only been here for two months, and I still have to adapt to the league. Currently, I’m still learning when to work back in the game, when to mark someone, and when to attack. Every day, I learn something new and get a little better.”

Nottingham Forest have a lot of options on the wing, with Dilane Bakwa, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Omari Hutchinson.
However, Ndoye’s versatility could play a key role in his minutes under Postecoglou. We have already seen the winger play on both the left and right wings under the Forest head coach, and that could see him get a lot of game time this season.
Hopefully, Ndoye can continue to adapt to English football, as the Tricky Trees have an excellent player on their hands.
