Nottingham Forest slipped to defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion as a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions came to an abrupt end.
Forest were never really in the first half, with Morgan Gibbs-White going the closest to scoring with a half chance following a Nicolas Dominguez cross.
Ultimately, Forest got exactly what they deserved during the contest, and it would have been extremely rough on Brighton had they not left with all three points.
Sean Dyche has plenty to ponder ahead of Wednesday night’s trip to Wolves, and the hope will be that the Reds can get back on the winning trail once again.

What James Perch said about Nottingham Forest defender Morato
Perch knows all about playing across the defensive unit for Forest, having been the ultimate utility man during his time at the City Ground.
After Sunday’s defeat to Brighton, he admitted on BBC Radio Nottingham that he does have some reservations over the capabilities of Morato when Murillo doesn’t play.
The former Forest man said: “He scares me a little bit. I just feel like he’s always got that in the locker. Look, he’s not Murillo, is he? You lose a bit of pace when Morato has to play, and that’s a concern for Forest because we’re not sure how long he’s going to be out. He will do you a job, but he’s got to do better for the second goal.”
Who was your Forest Man of the Match vs Brighton
Forest should play Jair Cunha on Wednesday if Murillo isn’t fit
Morato has done okay when called upon, but Perch is right to suggest that he always seems to have a bit of a howler in his locker out of nowhere.
The Brazilian player is far from as bad as some fans would care to make out, but with Cunha in reserve, perhaps it’s time to give him a chance instead.
😡 What was Morato thinking?! 😒
Dyche won’t be happy with Morato’s efforts in giving up the second goal for the Reds and there is a bit of a conundrum brewing if Murillo is going to be out long-term.
Morato has to prove he can correct these poor errors that have blighted his performances in the past, and now, it will be interesting to see if his latest mistake will cost him his place in the Forest team.
