Omari Hutchinson has found things tough to take so far at Nottingham Forest amid a lack of minutes.
The winger signed for Forest from Ipswich Town for a club record transfer fee of £37.5 million back in the summer transfer window.
Hutchinson is a Kia Joorabchin client, and there is talk that Edu pushed to complete this transfer over a deal for Adama Traore – much to the dismay of former boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
The 22-year-old couldn’t get minutes under Ange Postecoglou, but since Sean Dyche has come in at the City Ground, he’s enjoyed a bit of a renaissance.
This was highlighted yesterday with a quite remarkable statistic during a 2-0 defeat for Forest against Brighton.

Omari Hutchinson statistic shows what he’s capable of
The youngster was introduced along with Callum Hudson-Odoi at half-time against Brighton, with Dan Ndoye and Nicolas Dominguez struggling in the first half.
Immediately, Hutchinson set out to make life tougher for the Brighton defence and, in large parts, Forest played much better in the second half.
Hutchinson managed as many successful dribbles as the three other wingers who played during the 90 minutes, whilst he also created more chances for the Reds, throwing down a real marker to the other players competing for his position.
Statistically speaking: Omari Hutchinson vs Brighton
Hutchinson has to start vs Wolves
A game against a winless Wolves team does provide Forest with a good opportunity to get back on track after a first defeat in five games.
Although the game won’t be easy, Forest boss Dyche will be under no illusions that he should now perhaps make changes after starting the same eleven that beat Liverpool last weekend against Brighton.
Should Omari Hutchinson start vs Wolves
Hutchinson changed the game against Leeds in favour of Forest, and he was also on hand to set up Morgan Gibbs-White to score Forest’s third goal at Anfield.
It’s taken some time for Hutchinson to prove himself at Forest, but with how much Ndoye and Dominguez struggled on the flanks yesterday, it’s now surely time for the club’s record signing to get a strong run of games.
