Sean Dyche has firmly got his feet under the table at Nottingham Forest after being chosen as the man to replace Ange Postecoglou.
Before Sunday’s 2-0 defeat against Brighton, Forest had gone five games without defeat in all competitions, including a 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield.
Dyche has Forest firmly in his heart, having come through the City Ground ranks as a player at the same time, the legendary Brian Clough was overseeing things at the club.
With football starved of characters in the modern era, Dyche remains one of the more extroverted characters in the sport, and he’s now shared what he wants to see stamped out of football.

Ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Wolves, Dyche was asked whether the new goalkeeper time-outs are something that he’d like to see stamped out.
It’s become trendy for teams to ask their goalkeeper to go down injured, allowing coaches to get their team together for a basketball-style time-out, knowing that the custodian doesn’t have to go off the pitch after treatment.
Dyche has instead suggested there is something else that is embedded within the sport of football that he’d like to see changed instead.
He said in his press conference: “I thought the issue that needs tackling is people feigning injury and diving all over the place. If you want to change something, focus on that, because children are copying it.”

Back in 2018, Dwight Gayle received a ban after being proven as a cheat during a 2-2 draw with West Brom, in which the Baggies pinched a point after a Gayle dive.
Then, this season, Nicolo Savona was booked for a dive against Porto, only to have it overturned after a lengthy VAR check that led to the referee admitting he got things wrong.
Diving is the real issue in modern-day football, and Dyche is right that the sooner this is sorted out, the better the game will become from top to bottom.
There are, of course, a number of things that have made the game worse than it was years ago, and perhaps he doesn’t recognise the beautiful game anymore.
The situation with goalkeepers is getting somewhat out of control at the moment, and it will be interesting to see what IFAB come up with to combat this.
