Omari Hutchinson has burst into life in recent weeks for Nottingham Forest as he looks to impress Sean Dyche.
The club’s record £37.5 million signing from Ipswich Town is yet to start a Premier League game in 2024/25, with both Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou leaving him out in the cold.
In recent weeks, Hutchinson has started to produce the goods from the bench, with Forest fans voting him as the best player against Brighton at the weekend.
Now, Dyche has lifted the lid on exactly how the youngster has been feeling since he arrived at the club.

Dyche makes Hutchinson claim ahead of Wolves game
Surely, with three Premier League games this week, fans will see Hutchinson start one of them and after starting on the bench against Brighton, Wolves is surely his moment.
Ahead of the game, Dyche has suggested what he thinks Hutchinson has been struggling with and also highlighted what he said to the player when he first came into the club.
He said in his press conference: “The Europa League squad had nothing to do with me. I spoke to him before the Leeds game and told him to forget about the price tag because it’s not relevant. The way football is now, people pay for what they get, regardless of what we all think.
“I told him to just focus on enjoying his football. He has been doing that. He has been enjoying it in training. He knows he is knocking on the door, and I have made it clear to him that his time will come with the way he keeps training and playing. I am pleased with his mentality.”
Statistically speaking: Omari Hutchinson vs Brighton
Omari Hutchinson has to play vs Wolves
If Hutchinson isn’t going to get a chance to shine against a team without a Premier League win all season, it’s hard to fathom when he will get some game time.
Hutchinson has waited patiently for a chance to shine by performing off the bench, and right now, he’s probably the form winger in the entire squad.
Should Omari Hutchinson start vs Wolves
With Dyche striving to get back to winning ways, he will want to attack Wolves, who are short on confidence at the moment, and Hutchinson is an all-action player.
Forest don’t want to be looking over their shoulders at the bottom three again, and after defeat to Brighton, a win over Wolves is absolutely paramount.
Hutchinson is the form player at the moment and after his exploits from the bench in recent weeks, the hope will be that Dyche can stay true to his word and start him at Molineux on Wednesday.
