Nottingham Forest made a number of changes as Sean Dyche oversaw a 2-1 win over FC Utrecht.
The Reds were well worth their victory in the end as Arnaud Kalimuedo and Igor Jesus both scored goals in the Netherlands.
Forest are now nicely poised to get out of the group stages and winning games against Braga and Ferencvaros would likely secure a top eight finish.
The Reds have to now focus on getting points in the Premier League and one player has surely cemented his place in Dyche’s plans going forward after starring against Utrecht.

Nicolas Dominguez shows why he should be a mainstay
This time last year, Forest were embarking on a run of six successive wins that ultimately led to the club making Europe in the first place.
One of the main elements of that team under Nuno Espirito Santo was the decision to pair Nicolas Dominguez with Elliot Anderson in the middle of the park.

This season, however, he’s struggled to get on the pitch quite as frequently, with Dyche using him further forward when he’s picked him to start.
Ryan Yates was injured for this one, however, and as a result, Dyche had little choice but to give Dominguez a game in his actual position.
The Argentine didn’t disappoint and even when he went further forward in the second half, he still produced the goods for Forest.
Nicolas Dominguez stats vs FC Utrecht
This was a proud match for Dominguez. In the absence of Yates and with Morgan Gibbs-White on the bench, Dyche made the midfielder his captain.
It was a role that he seemed to thrive in, and he seemed to enjoy discussing decisions with the referee and also ensuring the team knew their jobs.
😍How BRILLIANT was Nicolas Dominguez during Nottingham Forest win over FC Utrecht
Dominguez showed just how good he is with the ball and without it during this game, and it’s a travesty that more fans don’t understand what he does out on the pitch.
The Argentine international is hardly going to bag loads of goals for a team, but his hard work, determination and running in and out of possession make him a very useful player.
Dyche should now be under no illusions as to just how important Dominguez is and frankly, he can’t leave him out of the side ever again after this showing.
