Nottingham Forest are making strides under Sean Dyche as he settles into his role as the new head coach.
Dyche oversaw a 3-0 win over Tottenham on Sunday, and it’s the third time since he arrived that Forest have scored three goals in a Premier League match.
After a treacherous spell under Ange Postecoglou, things finally look to be joined up once more at Forest, with Dyche completely understanding what the football club means to the supporters.
With Ian Woan and Steve Stone, his chief lieutenants on the coaching staff, Forest are in extremely safe hands going into the second half of the campaign.
Last month, Ross Wilson headed to Newcastle to take over as their Director of Football, with Forest replacing him with an internal promotion.

It’s been up in the air as to who might replace him at Forest, but now, The Guardian claims that George Syrianos has received an internal promotion and will be heavily involved in January recruitment.
Syrianos is in his second spell at Forest. He oversaw the summer recruitment in the summer of 2022 following promotion, but was then bizarrely allowed to leave by Evangelos Marinakis.
After some bleak transfer dealings following his departure, Marinakis went on a grovel mission to Syrianos, and it would appear that he’s now keen to show him just how much he values him.
Forest now in good position to attack January transfer window
When Dyche first came in, Forest were in the relegation zone, but now, with European progression looking likely and progress being made in the Premier League, the club is still an attractive proposition for new signings.

Syrianos could secure some seriously talented players for Forest, and alongside Dyche, who knows the Premier League extremely well, it could be a fruitful window for the club.
Wilson will naturally be missed. He was instrumental in signing lots of players, most notably Elliot Anderson, and the hope will be that the transition from him to Syrianos can prove minimal.
The Forest squad is brimming with talent, but with some players likely to move out in search of regular football, it looks clear that Dyche will want to add one or two of his own players to the ranks.
