Elliot Anderson voted as Nottingham Forest’s best player of 2025
After finishing in seventh place last season there are so many players who could have taken this award this season.
Forest ran out of steam in the quest to secure a place in the Champions League for this season, failing to win any of the last four home games at a pivotal time.
So many Forest stars deserve immense praise for what they’ve achieved in 2025 but given he’s broken into the England team and become a regular, it feels fitting that Anderson has won the accolade.
Over 100 supporters had their say, with Anderson getting over 50% of the votes to win the award at a landslide.

Murillo came second with just shy of 19% of the vote, with Chris Wood in third and Nikola Milenkovic, Matz Sels and Ibrahim Sangare made up the voting.
Forest must remain in the Premier League to get a sizeable sum for Anderson
It’s been claimed that Forest value Anderson in the region of £80-£100 million but if the Reds are to recoup that, they must remain in the Premier League.
Evangelos Marinakis drives a hard bargain on any players who leave the City Ground but leaving the Premier League would seriously hamper the club’s chances of claiming top whack when Anderson inevitably goes.
In the recent weeks, Anderson has been somewhat ordinary with his performances showcasing a player who is short on confidence.
However, he remains integral to Forest’s fortunes and the hope will be that he can rediscover himself help the Reds remain in the Premier League before he leaves in the summer.
Thomas Tuchel has called Anderson ‘elite’ and ultimately the hope will be that right now it’s a case of form being temporary and class permanent for the man now voted as our 2025 Player of the Year.
