If anyone thought Nottingham Forest had things bad this season, West Ham are one club who have things considerably worse.
The Hammers face Forest on Tuesday, knowing that a defeat would put them seven points adrift of the Reds and leave them rooted in the relegation zone.
However, a win for West Ham would plunge Forest firmly into danger and put just one point between the Reds and the Hammers, with Arsenal to play next for Sean Dyche’s team.
West Ham hit rock bottom on Saturday as they became the first team all season to lose a Premier League game to hapless Wolves, with Nuno Espirito Santo now seemingly on borrowed time at The London Stadium.

Bowen did suggest what West Ham struggled with against Wolves and it will surely offer the Forest head coach some food for thought ahead of tomorrow’s game.

He told the club’s official website:”But, the goals we conceded today were really poor, and then they played a back five that we found really difficult to break down.
“We want to play well and win games, but we have to have the kind of mentality of being in a scrap as well, and that over our dead bodies is that ball going in the back of the net. We can’t afford to be conceding two or three goals, and we need to be better.”
Dyche has to mix things up a bit
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome, with Forest guilty of that during the last four games.
Losing four on the spin after a brilliant 3-0 win over Tottenham is far from ideal and Forest are desperate to win the game and get a big three points on Tuesday night.

Doing something different could be just the tonic for Forest and the fact that Bowen has said the Hammers struggled to break down Wolves does deliver food for thought.
Dyche knows that his job will become a whole lot easier if a win is secured tomorrow and hopefully, the Reds can claim a big three points.
