Nottingham Forest claimed a huge win over West Ham United to pull clear of the relegation zone.
Nuno Espirito Santo watched his team go 2-0 up, only for the second goal to be ruled out, and Nicolas Dominguez actually equalised moments after the VAR check.
The West Ham misery was further compounded in the final stages of the game when Alphonse Areola cleaned out Morgan Gibbs-White, with the Forest captain stepping up to score a winner from the spot.
At half-time of the clash, Michael Dawson felt that one Forest player should have done more to prevent the Hammers taking the lead.

Michael Dawson bemoans Igor Jesus
The former Forest defender thinks Jesus won’t want to see back his part in the goal that the Reds conceded in the early stages of the game.
Dawson appreciates that Jesus isn’t there to defend but he claims that he cannot let Tomas Soucek – a renowned header of the ball – get across him and win the flick on.
3️⃣A HUGE three points for Nottingham Forest against West Ham, what was your verdict on the game?
Let us know your one-word verdict on tonight's match below…👇
He said live on Sky Sports: “Igor Jesus has to do so much better for me. He cannot get beat at the front post, Paqueta comes across him and then Tomas Soucek just jumps ahead of him. He cannot get beaten like that, it’s not good enough.”
Igor Jesus deserves sympathy
It’s hard not to feel sympathy for a striker who is being tasked with playing every minute of every game when he quite clearly needs a rest.
In the early stages of this one, it looked as though Jesus looked fatigued, and he wasn’t quite at the races during this contest.
⭐Who was your STAR MAN during Nottingham Forest’s win over West Ham
Jesus needs a rest and hopefully, Forest will be in a position to not even take him to Wrexham on Friday night and let him get a full week of rest.
The Brazilian was signed ideally to act as a backup to Chris Wood but with the talisman getting a long-term injury, he’s been asked to play more frequently.
Jesus could have defended better, but ultimately, the player will learn from this, and hopefully, he can get back to his best once he’s had a bit of rest in the coming weeks.
