Nottingham Forest are doing a lot of gymnastics with players this month as Sean Dyche tries to strengthen his squad.
Right now, the squad is weaker than it was at the start of January, with Arnaud Kalimuendo leaving to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan earlier this month.
Forest are in for Jorgen Strand Larsen, but Wolves aren’t overly keen to sell him, and if they do, they will command around £40 million for his services.
There are other irons in the fire too, and although Forest want to keep Morato, there are others that Dyche would like to get rid of this month.

Nottingham Forest want to end Oleksandr Zinchenko loan deal
This was a deal that Edu clearly has his mucky paw prints all over, and Dyche is keen to try and terminate the left-back’s failed loan.
Zinchenko has struggled to oust Neco Williams from the left-back position, and even when he’s been fit, he’s looked some way short of the required quality for Forest.
BBC Sport claim that Forest are eyeing up cutting short the player’s loan, although there is a problem that they need to try and iron out first.
When Forest signed Zinchenko, there was no clause inserted that simply allows Forest to terminate the loan deal after six months.
As a result, Forest will likely have to sort the player’s next move out on behalf of Arsenal, given that the Gunners’ squad is full and they don’t want him back at the Emirates Stadium.
Zinchenko has started just four Premier League games as his impact on the team since arriving at the City Ground has been minimal, to say the least.
Zinchenko receives criticism from Dyche
On Friday against Wrexham, Dyche made three changes at half-time with Forest trailing 2-0 to the team in the division below.
One of those changes saw Zinchenko come off for Williams, and after the game, Dyche appeared to take aim at the three players who were withdrawn.
FILL IN THE BLANK: Oleksandr Zinchenko has been _____________ at Nottingham Forest
The Ukrainian has been linked with the exit!
He claimed that some of the players picked from the off had been knocking on his door, and frankly, some of them weren’t good enough, hence he made the changes.
That leaves Zinchenko in a very sticky place at the moment, and given that he’s unavailable for Saturday’s game against Arsenal, he might have kicked a ball for the last time in the Garibaldi.
