Nottingham Forest have a wealth of talent to choose from within their academy, with a number of players being part of the Europa League squad this season.
Forest talent Jimmy Sinclair came off the bench against Malmo, whilst Jack Thompson, Archie Whitehall and Keehan Willows have featured heavily on the bench.
The B-Team are currently in fine form, and last week, Sinclair inspired the young Reds to a brilliant 2-0 win over PSG in the Premier League International Cup.
As ever with any youth academy, some players make it, and others don’t, with one player now choosing to exit the City Ground for a very surprising move.

Adam Berry signs for club in Saudi Arabia
It’s been confirmed today that Berry has been picked up by Al-Kholood in Saudi Arabia, with the 20-year-old set to sample men’s football for the first time.
Al-Kholood are managed by former Oxford United boss Des Buckingham, and he’s moved to sign the midfielder from Forest after an impressive time of things with the youth team.
During the 2025/26 campaign, Berry has held down a position as a number 10, scoring five goals and claiming one assist in all competitions.
Al-Kholood could do with Berry hitting the ground running, with the club languishing in 13th place in the league table at the halfway point of the season.

Forest will watch Berry with intrigue
Nuno Espirito Santo took Berry with him on the pre-season tour to Portugal and he got minutes in games against Estoril and Fulham during the camp.
As a result, it’s perhaps surprising that he’s not been one of the youngsters called up to act as substitutes in the Europa League, given the quality he’s showcased for the B-Team.
Berry has probably made a decision that he simply cannot turn down from a financial point of view and it will now be fascinating to see how he performs in Saudi Arabia.
