Sean Dyche was sacked by Nottingham Forest last month, and now he’s delivered his verdict on Evangelos Marinakis.
The Forest head coach was handed his papers after a 0-0 draw with Wolves at the City Ground on a night when the Reds had 36 shots at goal.

Dyche had taken the Reds out of the relegation zone since arriving at Forest, but Marinakis canvassed player opinion and got rid.
Now, after being replaced by Vitor Pereira, Dyche has shared his honest views on the Forest owner.
Sean Dyche has the utmost respect for Evangelos Marinakis
Dyche was actually sitting pretty in the Premier League form table if only results from when he took over counted, with Forest in 12th place.
However, the style of play was often drab and although the team had positive wins against Liverpool and Tottenham during his tenure, drab performances followed against Everton twice, Fulham, Leeds and Wolves.
Dyche, however, is in no mood to criticise Marinakis and believes he held a positive relationship with the Forest owner.
He said on The Football Boardroom podcast: “This is really important to me as a football person and as a person. Mr Marinakis was nothing but good to me and straight. His final decision is a strange one, but as a bloke with me personally, I’ve got no gripes at all.”
Dyche will hold Forest regrets
Although he will probably say he doesn’t, given his allegiance to the club, it’s surely obvious that Dyche will hold some regrets.
Given the best squad of players he ever managed, Dyche had them playing some drab football at times, and his inability to work on a Plan B ultimately cost him his job.
The amount of money Nottingham Forest have paid out to managers
This is just ridiculous, should we have persisted with Dyche?
Dyche didn’t have the best luck with injuries to players like Ola Aina and Murillo, but even when he could call upon those players, he never managed to get a tune out of them.
Some fans are hellbent on defending Dyche because of his team as a youth player with the club and the fact that he brings Ian Woan and Steve Stone as part of his entourage.
However, Pereira has shown more tactical nous than Dyche ever did, and he really can have no complaints with the decision made by Marinakis.
