Morgan Gibbs-White scored a hat-trick as Nottingham Forest beat Burnley 4-1 at the City Ground to go five points clear of the relegation zone.
The Forest talisman has been in fine form this season, and the number 10 looks more than capable of taking the Reds over the line and securing survival.
Talk has turned towards Gibbs-White and his England credentials after his brilliant hat-trick at the weekend, with the Forest man firmly knocking on the door.
It’s been claimed that Tuchel isn’t a huge fan of Gibbs-White and now Jamie Carragher has had his say on the Forest man’s chances of making the World Cup squad.

Jamie Carragher doesn’t think Morgan Gibbs-White will make England World Cup squad
It’s hard to see Gibbs-White getting the nod from Tuchel, given that he didn’t get into the last squad for a couple of friendlies.
Gibbs-White is doing all he can to get himself recognised by Tuchel ahead of the tournament, however, and Carragher has had his say on the situation.
Carragher told Sky Sports: “He’s a really good player, I really like him. Don’t forget the manager, you play him as a 10, but he puts two strikers on, and he moves him out a little bit wider, and it really helped him.
“I’m a huge fan, I’ve said it for a few years since he went to Nottingham Forest. He wasn’t in the last 35-man England squad, so the chances of him going now it’s going to be really difficult.
“But when I think of players in his position, he’s got energy, he’s got pace, and he’s not just good on the ball.”
Gibbs-White clearly isn’t letting his latest England setback get him too down, with the number 10 going about his business brilliantly for Forest.
The Reds need his strong form to continue for a little while longer, and with the club’s strikers struggling for goals a little bit, Gibbs-White is proving to be worth his weight in gold.
Carragher is clearly keen to fight Gibbs-White’s corner, hinting that others in his position aren’t playing quite as well and now the ball is in the court of Tuchel ahead of the summer.
