Nottingham Forest won’t look back on the 2025/26 season with a great deal of fondness, but right now, the Reds are playing with a lot of heart.
Friday’s 5-0 win over Sunderland was just the tonic for Vitor Pereira, who maintains that the relegation survival bid is not yet finished despite being unbeaten in eight matches in all competitions.
Goals from Chris Wood, Morgan Gibbs-White, Igor Jesus, Elliot Anderson and an own goal saw Forest demolish the Black Cats despite their brilliant home form.
After the match, there was much to discuss, and Forest have now done something that no other Premier League club have managed this season.

Nottingham Forest boast something no other Premier League club can
Gibbs-White maintained his fine form last night and moved onto 16 goals for the season, with Jesus bagging his 15th during a comprehensive rout.
No other Premier League club can lay claim to having two players who have scored 15 or more goals this season in all competitions.
Both players have stepped up in recent weeks with the club fighting against relegation, and right now, the two are in fine form for Forest.
How would you rate these two out of 10 this season?
A stunning record!
Both Gibbs-White and Jesus have found the way to the goal in recent weeks, and Pereira will be hoping their strong form continues for a few more weeks.
Gibbs-White has the World Cup in his sights with England, and all he can do is keep scoring goals to try to impress Thomas Tuchel.
Jesus might find it a little bit harder to make the World Cup with Brazil given that they have a number of strikers currently ahead of him.
All the Forest pair can do, however, is keep scoring and hope that their respective international bosses take an interest between now and the end of the season.
