Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson is showing maturity way beyond his tender years right now.
Prior to the recent game against Porto in the Europa League, Anderson’s family were left completely devastated at the sad passing of his mother, Helen.
🔠How would you rate Elliot Anderson for his time with Nottingham Forest?🤔
Despite such despair, Anderson chose to play three days after the Porto game against Burnley and helped the Reds to a 4-1 win, with the midfielder scoring in a 5-0 win over Sunderland on Friday night.
Forest fans aren’t delusional and appreciate that Anderson is likely to depart the City Ground in the summer, and now it seems his teammates are resigned to that situation too.

Forest stars think Anderson will sign for Manchester City
Jack Gaughan of the Daily Mail has claimed that the belief around the Forest camp is that Anderson is likely to sign for Manchester City in the summer.
Right now, however, there are no negotiations, with City unable to thrash out a deal with Forest until it becomes completely finalised, which division the Reds will be playing in next season.
Anderson’s focus right now is on finishing the season strongly with Forest and then gearing up for the World Cup with England in the summer.
If Forest remain in the Premier League, Evangelos Marinakis is adamant he can recoup £125 million for the midfielder whom Forest signed for £35 million from Newcastle.
Anderson has been a revelation since joining the Reds and last season played an instrumental part in Nuno Espirito Santo’s team that finished seventh in the Premier League.
Now, it seems as though the race to sign Anderson is City’s to lose, and Forest have to ensure that the best possible deal is made, allowing the club to sufficiently replace him.
