Thierry Henry is so impressed with Vitor Pereira
Henry is one of the best pundits around, and he was tasked with analysing the Forest game on Sky Sports on Monday afternoon.
He was impressed with Pereira for his ability to change eight players and somehow keep the cohesion within his team against Chelsea.
Forest raced out of the blocks and scored after 98 seconds against Chelsea, with Pereira drawing praise from Henry for his team’s efforts.
He said on Sky Sports: “Really impressive, I have to say. I saw them play in the Europa League, and recently, the way they are playing.
“We all thought today that it was maybe going to be difficult for them because eight changes, but you can see what he’s been building with the team because he has the trust of the guys.
“He put some youngsters in, some guys that didn’t play for a very long time, and he looked the same, exactly the same, with the way they go about stuff. So, you have to give him a lot of credit.”
Pereira now has a golden chance to become a leader of heroes and also etch his own name into Forest folklore by reaching the Europa League final this week.
The Reds are 90 minutes away from glory, and their destiny is pretty much in their own hands as they go to Villa Park to face Villa for the second time.
Confidence is sky high at the moment, and Forest will head into the remainder of the season looking to make themselves heroes and claim European glory.
