Nottingham Forest went to Stamford Bridge on Monday and sent a firm message to West Ham United and Tottenham that they’re not keen to continue in the relegation fight.
The Reds are almost home and hosed with a six-point cushion to West Ham and just nine left to play for after a famous 3-1 win for Forest against a hapless Blues outfit.

There are a fair few to choose from!
Taiwo Awoniyi scored twice against Chelsea, with Igor Jesus adding the other from the penalty spot and after eight changes were made to the starting eleven, this proved a brilliant team performance.
After the game, a number of players came in for some praise, with Troy Deeney confessing he’s changed his mind on one Forest star.

Troy Deeney hails Nottingham Forest star Taiwo Awoniyi
Deeney also admitted he’d changed his mind on Forest’s survival hopes after this game, following a remarkable prediction before the contest.
He believed Forest should be worried after Spurs’ win, but he quickly backed down on that after this superb win over Chelsea.
After the game with Chelsea, he also backed down on his opinion of Taiwo Awoniyi after writing him off earlier this season.
Deeney said on BBC Sport: “A big performance from him. Only his second start of the season for Forest.
“I saw him earlier in the season against Chelsea, and he looked like he was carrying a wagon, like he couldn’t play football any more, but playing this Chelsea team, how the roles have reversed.
“He looked fantastic – two goals, powerful performance.”
💪Another two goals for Taiwo Awoniyi and now a discussion needs to be had…

Forest have decision to make on Awoniyi
If Pereira stays at Forest, then there is a very strong argument that Awoniyi should too.
He’s been in fine form under the new manager, and it would take a very brave man to tell the Nigerian that he has no future at Forest.
Awoniyi has the look of a man who absolutely loves turning out for Forest, and given that he now looks fit and he’s scoring goals, there is no reason not to keep him.
For the last two transfer windows, it’s been claimed that Awoniyi has no future at the City Ground but right now, it looks as though he could earn a reprieve and play a big part on Trentside next season.
