Nottingham Forest are facing an anxious wait over Morgan Gibbs-White ahead of tonight’s Europa League semi-final.

The captain was forced out of the action at Chelsea following an awful clash of heads with Robert Sanchez, with the Forest star needing stitches.

Gibbs-White could be available tonight, but Vitor Pereira will be preparing for every eventuality given the severity of the injury.

Ahead of the second leg, we’ve looked at two different elevens that Pereira could utilise depending on the fitness of Gibbs-White.

How Vitor Pereira could line Nottingham Forest up

Stefan Ortega will return as the club’s European goalkeeper, with his form very good in this competition this season.

Across the back four, there could be one change, with Ola Aina not training yesterday, and that could mean Murillo sliding over to left back, with Neco Williams on the right.

Jair Cunha will partner Nikola Milenkovic if that is the case.

In midfield, Ibrahim Sangare will miss out again after getting injured at Sunderland and that means Nicolas Dominguez and Elliot Anderson will continue once again.

Would you welcome this team tonight?

If he’s fit to play, Gibbs-White will likely get the free role on the left, with Igor Jesus just behind Chris Wood and Omari Hutchinson on the right flank.

However, if the captain doesn’t make it tonight, we think Dilane Bakwa could simply slot onto the flank and try to continue his momentum after a strong performance at Chelsea.

Everything hinges on Gibbs-White, and hopefully, he can play with the aid of a mask.
