Nottingham Forest lost 3-2 to Manchester United with referee Michael Salisbury taking centre-stage at Old Trafford.

The match official allowed a clear handball from Bryan Mbeumo to go unpunished, despite VAR pointing out that he’d made a mistake.

If Elliot Anderson is worth £120m then how much is Morgan Gibbs-White worth after that performance?

Wow! ⭐

Goals from Morato and Morgan Gibbs-White couldn’t prevent Forest from losing against the Red Devils, and now the Reds have to dust themselves down before playing Bournemouth next weekend.

Before the game, talk was centred around some Forest stars, and Micah Richards claimed one Reds star constantly excites him.

Micah Richards hails Elliot Anderson

Anderson is a hot topic of discussion at the moment, with a host of clubs monitoring him ahead of the summer transfer window opening.

The £35 million signing from Newcastle is going to make Forest a significant profit, and the Reds might have to get ready to replace him in the summer.

Richards is a huge fan of Anderson and he believes that watching him play football is exciting.

He said on Sky Sports: “For me, he’s the one. When I watch Forest, he’s got a bit of something about him, he excites me.

“It’s just whether he’s a 6 or an 8 at the moment and that’s what will be interesting to see as he continues to progress.”

Forest will now wait and see what offers are forthcoming for Anderson, with the player attracting interest from both Manchester clubs.

The Reds will want to rake in a record transfer fee for his services and more crucially, Forest will need to make sure they’re ready to attack a replacement for such a big player in the team.

Evangelos Marinakis has been defiant over Anderson and his other star players in the past and this summer might just be his biggest test yet.
