Nottingham Forest lost 3-2 to Manchester United, with Morgan Gibbs-White once again scoring.

With the England squad due to be named on Friday, Gibbs-White has done everything he possibly could to try and get on the plane for this summer’s World Cup.

If Elliot Anderson is worth £120m then how much is Morgan Gibbs-White worth after that performance?

Wow! ⭐

Gibbs-White has been in sensational Forest form since the turn of the year and has scored 17 goals and claimed seven assists during the 2025/26 campaign.

The number 10 is the hot topic of discussion when it comes to the England squad, and Gibbs-White will have everything crossed that he’s included.

Mark Pougatch wants Morgan Gibbs-White at the World Cup

Pougatch will be on presenting duty for ITV at the World Cup, and he’s in no doubt as to what Thomas Tuchel should do with Gibbs-White ahead of the World Cup.

The Forest number 10 scored a superb goal against United on Sunday, and he perhaps showcased his technical ability to the rest of the Premier League in the process.

Forest fans know that Gibbs-White has been in fine form for a long time now, and Pougatch has urged Tuchel to pick the player when the decision is made this week.

He posted on X: “Pick players on form. Morgan Gibbs-White has to go to the World Cup. #England.”

Now, Gibbs-White will face an anxious wait, and although he is preparing for the final Forest game of the season, he will have his eyes peeled on his phone waiting for the call.

If Tuchel doesn’t take him to the World Cup, he will have to phone Gibbs-White and explain exactly what more he can do to force his way into his plans, and that will be difficult based on his current form.

Gibbs-White has been a credit to himself and to Forest as a football club this season, and he richly deserves to be going to the World Cup, especially considering how average Phil Foden and Cole Palmer have been this season.
