Nottingham Forest are set to bring the curtain down on a chaotic 2025/26 campaign against Bournemouth on Sunday.
Aside from the European trips, there won’t be much fondness to look back on when the dust settles on the season.
😡ANOTHER apology from the PGMOL sent to Nottingham Forest!
Is there any wonder Marinakis gets annoyed given the woeful standards?! 😒
Forest have gone through four managers, flirted endlessly with relegation, and frankly, it’s not been an overly enjoyable campaign.
After Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United, talk has turned towards some of the players and whether they will remain at the club beyond the summer.
Franz Carr has confessed that he really likes one Forest player but just wishes he’d have more belief.

Franz Carr wants more belief from Omari Hutchinson
Hutchinson has played a lot more football under Vitor Pereira than he did under the other managers that Forest have had this season.
After costing £37 million last summer, more was expected of Hutchinson, with the player a signing recommended by Edu.
How would you rate Omari Hutchinson’s performances this season?
Can he ever truly justify the £37m price tag?
However, Carr believes there is a player in Hutchinson who just needs to believe in himself a little bit more.
He told the Forest Focus podcast: “I definitely see him getting more goals and assists. He’s only young, he’s learning his trade. He’s come from Ipswich into a fire if you like at Forest, with four managers. He’s a confidence player, isn’t he, and if he just believes in his own ability a bit more, you’ll get more from him.
“Vitor has given him more opportunities, and perhaps he just needs to spring a bit more to try and get beyond his man.”
Hutchinson has managed just one goal this season, but he has registered seven assists, and that isn’t bad.
At 22-years-old, there is time on his side, and fans shouldn’t wash their hands of Hutchinson just yet.
Vitor Pereira seems to fancy Hutchinson as a player, and if the head coach remains at the City Ground next season, he should get another crack of the whip when it comes to playing regularly.
Carr is right about Hutchinson, however, and with the right arm around his shoulder, he could become a big player for Forest next season.
