Edu was the man tasked with overseeing some of the recruitment done by Nottingham Forest last summer.
Omari Hutchinson and Douglas Luiz were the two transfers he desperately pushed for, with Luiz lasting just six months before being recalled by Juventus.
😡ANOTHER apology from the PGMOL sent to Nottingham Forest!
Is there any wonder Marinakis gets annoyed given the woeful standards?! 😒
One other remit that Edu had last summer was replacing Anthony Elanga, who signed for Newcastle for a fee in the region of £60 million.
Along with Lina Souloukou in her role as the CEO, the pair decided on Dan Ndoye, and it looks as though the pair dropped a right royal clanger.

Agent tries to get Dan Ndoye out of Nottingham Forest
According to Calciomercato, the agent of Ndoye is trying desperately to get his client a move away from the City Ground this summer.
Forest are hoping to cash in on Ndoye before the transfer window closes, with the Reds set to refuse any loan offers and demand around £35 million for his services.
It’s not concrete yet where Ndoye will go, and although several Italian clubs are thought to be keen, more clubs in England could yet come forward.
Napoli wanted Ndoye before he joined Forest last summer, and it’s believed they’re still interested, with Inter and Roma not far behind in the running.
Ndoye has been out of favour under Vitor Pereira, with other wide options favoured since he came to the club.
How would you rate Omari Hutchinson’s performances this season?
Can he ever truly justify the £37m price tag?
In fairness, the Swiss performer has struggled with some injury issues as well, and it’s hard to be too critical of Ndoye, who has seemed like a good character at the City Ground.
Ndoye will likely play a big part in Switzerland’s World Cup campaign, and once his participation there is over, he will seemingly head to pastures new ahead of the season.
