Chris Sutton hails Morgan Gibbs-White

Gibbs-White pointed to his chest and held 10 fingers in the air when scoring against Bournemouth.

The hot topic ahead of the game was around Tuchel’s decision not to include him in the World Cup squad and Sutton thinks the England boss has made a mistake.

He said on Sky Sports: “He’s been phenomenal this season, and he will be massively disappointed not to be going to the United States – I think he should be going.

“His goals and assists have been brilliant and maybe he will want to show Thomas Tuchel exactly what he’s missing today.”

From a selfish point of view, it’s great that Gibbs-White will get a summer of rest, ready to come back and help Forest kick on in the Premier League again.

However, it’s hard not to feel sorry for the player who gives so much to the cause and who has covered every blade of grass to try and make the squad.

Murillo has signed a NEW contract but who do Nottingham Forest need to tie down next?

Gibbs-White will be integral to Forest’s fortunes again next season, and with Elliot Anderson likely to leave this summer, it’s vital that Evangelos Marinakis puts his foot down again and keeps the number 10 too.
