Forest can look back on the last two months of the season with a lot of heart, having looked doomed for relegation before Vitor Pereira came to the club.

Vitor Pereira shares Elliot Anderson stance
Forest won’t be actively looking to sell Anderson, but it’s fair to say that he is attracting a lot of interest from bigger clubs.
Anderson was in fine form for Forest on the final day and when he left the pitch to be substituted in the 60th minute, he was given a rousing reception from the stands.
Pereira isn’t sure what will happen with regards to Anderson and has remained somewhat coy over the future of his number eight.
He said in his press conference: “I don’t have the answer. If you ask me if he deserves the best clubs in the world, he deserves.
“He has a lot of quality, he is a talent. But he is our player and I am very happy with him. The market is the market, I cannot predict the market.
“I know we want to keep the same players, to bring two or three players to help us balance the squad. In the end, we’ll see.”
Anderson has been outstanding for Forest in the two seasons he’s played at the City Ground and has grown with each performance.

Forest are under no illusions of their position in the food chain when it comes to the Premier League and if Anderson does leave the real challenge will be to replace him adequately.
