Callum Hudson-Odoi reacts to Morgan Gibbs-White highlight reel as Ola Aina mocks England

Morgan Gibbs-White probably deserves to put his feet up more than any other Nottingham Forest player with the 2025/26 campaign now at a close.

Gibbs-White has stood up to be counted when it really mattered, carrying Forest upon his back at times and finishing the season with 18 goals and seven assists in all competitions.

Murillo has signed a NEW contract but who do Nottingham Forest need to tie down next?

Remarkably, Gibbs-White gets a rest for a few months now, despite the fact that there is a World Cup on the horizon, with Thomas Tuchel inexplicably leaving the Forest number 10 out.

After sharing a highlight reel of his 2025/26 campaign on social media, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ola Aina have both reacted to the season enjoyed by Gibbs-White.

Callum Hudson-Odoi sums up Morgan Gibbs-White in one word

Hudson-Odoi has missed the final exchanges of the season with an injury that required him to undergo surgery.

He’s been rooting for the team from afar, though and has still been spotted watching the team, certainly at home games during his spell on the sidelines.

Hudson-Odoi posted the word ‘Special’ on Gibbs-White’s post but it was perhaps Aina that caused the biggest stir.

He’s also missed the final stages of the season through injury, and in fairness, his campaign has been completely blighted by problems.

He thinks it’s a travesty that Gibbs-White isn’t going to the World Cup and said: “I’ll pay for the flight to get you over there! Fantastic season from you, my boy!”

If Elliot Anderson is worth £120m then how much is Morgan Gibbs-White worth after that performance?

Wow! ⭐

It doesn’t take much to understand why Gibbs-White should be on the plane for England ahead of this summer’s World Cup.

However, the Three Lions’ loss is Forest’s gain, with the number 10 now able to enjoy some downtime, recharge the batteries and come back next season ready to perform at the City Ground again!
