Arsenal might be the toast of the Premier League this season, but they remain two European Cups behind Nottingham Forest.
Saturday’s penalty shootout defeat against PSG means that Arsenal still can’t call themselves Champions of Europe, as the big UEFA trophy continues to escape their grasp.
👀When both of their careers have finished who will have the bigger collection of trophies – Elliot Anderson or Declan Rice?
He might not have won the PL title but is it fair to say Anderson has been better than Rice this season?🤔
Forest are extremely proud of their two European Cup successes and after Saturday’s final, the Reds joined a number of teams in poking fun at the Gunners for their defeat.

What Nottingham Forest posted after Arsenal lost Champions League final
Arsenal were beaten 4-3 on penalties by the French champions as Eberechi Eze and Gabriel missed their penalties to give the Parisians back-to-back wins in the Champions League.
Forest decided to join a number of clubs poking fun at Arsenal straight after the final with an indirect post regarding John Robertson.
At 8pm, shortly after the final had finished, Forest shared a photograph of Robertson holding the Champions League trophy aloft.
Given that it was the anniversary of Forest winning the title for the first of their two European Cups, there was method in the timing of the post.
However, it felt awfully convenient given that the Champions of Europe mantra continues to escape Arsenal for now, despite their dominant season in the Premier League.
After getting another taste of European action in 2025/26, Evangelos Marinakis will now hope that Forest can get back into a competition with a strong performance in the Premier League next time around.
