The summer transfer window is almost upon us and Nottingham Forest are already drawing up a list of targets.
Nottingham Forest remain keen on Celtic’s Arne Engels, and Inter Milan’s Davide Fratessi is also on their radar.
Barcelona gem Marc Casado has also been linked to the City Ground, and it’s being reported that a £23m bid has already gone in.
On a scale of 1-10 how confident are you that Nottingham Forest will keep Morgan Gibbs-White this summer?
How much is the star man worth?🔥
Forest should also have a good look at the free agents who are available, so here are three who would be great additions to Vitor Pereira’s squad.
Julian Brandt (leaving Borussia Dortmund)
Julian Brandt is departing Borussia Dortmund upon the expiry of his contract this month, ending a very successful seven-year spell at the club.
Brandt, who operates as an attacking midfielder, has registered a whopping 127 goal involvements in 307 games for the German giants.
The 30-year-old has interest from Lazio and Roma, so Forest should throw their hat in the mix and try to persuade him to end his career in the Premier League.
Dusan Vlahovic (leaving Juventus)
Forest are expected to sign a striker this summer as injuries have really plagued Chris Wood over the last year.
Dusan Vlahovic, who netted 10 goals for Juventus last term, would be the perfect successor to the New Zealand international.
The 26-year-old stands at 6ft 3in tall and is a powerful number nine, so that kind of profile suits the way Forest play.
Indeed, competition will be especially fierce for Vlahovic, but Evangelos Marinakis has a track record of pulling off shock deals.
Brandt, Vlahovic and Bissouma are all free agents… who should Nottingham Forest sign? ✍️
Yves Bissouma (leaving Tottenham Hotspur)
Yves Bissouma’s four-year spell at Tottenham Hotspur is coming to an end, so there will be a queue of Premier League and overseas clubs having a look.
The 29-year-old was considered one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the league when he was at Brighton, so perhaps Pereira may feel he can unlock that version again.
It must be said, Bissouma endured a number of injury issues last term and only made seven league starts.
It would be a gamble.
