Nottingham Forest are in the mix to sign Davide Frattesi this summer, but he might not be the only player on the shortlist from Serie A.
New central midfielders will be the order of the day this summer, with Elliot Anderson looking set to sign for Manchester City.
Would you take Khephren Thuram at Nottingham Forest next season? 🔥
Frattesi hasn’t been earmarked as a like-for-like replacement, but it does appear as though Forest are keen to land him at the third time of asking.
It would appear that Italy is proving a popular destination for possible targets, however, and now another player from Serie A is being linked with the Reds.

Nottingham Forest want Khephren Thuram
According to reputable journalist Matteo Moretto, Forest have made concrete enquiries about signing the French midfielder this summer.
The Reds aren’t alone in making those calls, with Sunderland also in the mix to sign him.
Thuram signed for Juventus in the summer of 2024 from Nice, and he’s made 96 appearances for the Old Lady, scoring nine goals and claiming 13 assists.
It’s not clear at this stage whether or not he has a future at Juve, and he’s likely to discover his fate there before making any decision.
Forest would welcome the chance to sign Thuram, it would seem, and perhaps he’d be a more exciting signing than Frattesi at this stage.
Former Juventus assistant manager Giovanni Martusciello previously called Thuram ‘extraordinary’ and at 25, it does feel as though Forest would be signing him at the right age.
Forest have Ibrahim Sangare, Nicolas Dominguez and Ryan Yates available for the midfield positions and given they’re all very similar, a different sort of midfielder is required.
Thuram could prove a very useful addition, and it remains to be seen whether this impacts the pursuit of Frattesi or not.
