Dan Ndoye was poor for Switzerland vs Bosnia-Herzegovina

Despite Switzerland’s impressive win, Ndoye didn’t have his best game and actually received quite a bit of criticism.

In fact, Switzerland’s national newspaper Le Temps even touched on the Ndoye backlash during the half-time break.

Journalist Lionel Pittet wrote: “I don’t know about where you are, but on my WhatsApp groups, there’s a lot of criticism of Dan Ndoye.

“So I agree, he missed a lot of chances, but at the same time, who else was dangerous during the first half? I don’t see anyone. I think it’s a bit harsh to single him out.”

According to Sofascore, the Forest forward gave the ball away a whopping 15 times, and he failed to complete a successful cross, with all four failing to find their target.

Ndoye did have one standout moment as he almost scored a sensational bicycle kick, as seen below.

Ultimately, the 25-year-old was taken off in the 71st minute and his replacement Johan Manzambi scored a brace.

So, Ndoye may have just lost his place in the starting line-up to the 20-year-old ahead of the final group game against Canada.
