Nottingham Forest will go in search of a number of players this summer as they look to build on last season.
Vitor Pereira steered Forest to Premier League survival with two games to spare and also reached the semi-final of the Europa League.
⭐Would you be happy with the £45m signing of Lucas Bergvall to replace Elliot Anderson? Is he right for Forest? 🤔
Let us know your thoughts on the latest transfer link…👇
With the World Cup currently ongoing, there will perhaps be Forest scouts doing their due diligence on some players operating at that tournament.
Elliot Anderson is one player currently earning rave reviews for his efforts, and with Forest needing a striker, there could be a golden chance to turn the clock back and attack a former target.

Forest have chance to sign Folarin Balogun
According to The Athletic, Monaco are willing to offload Balogun this summer and will likely entertain offers around £43 million.
Balogun is the spearhead of the USA attack at the World Cup, scoring twice and claiming an assist at the tournament so far.
The striker scored 19 goals last season, with five of those coming in the Champions League, including two in the first knockout round against PSG.
Balogun would likely attract interest from a number of Premier League clubs following the World Cup, and Forest have a long-standing interest in the ex-Arsenal man.
The striker made 10 appearances for the Arsenal senior ranks, scoring two goals, and since leaving, he’s become one of the most feared marksmen in Ligue 1.
Forest wanted Balogun to bolster their promotion push under Steve Cooper in 2021 but on that occasion, the head coach preferred Keinan Davis and Sam Surridge instead.
Now, the world is standing up to take notice and Balogun can hit the mark as a summer signing for Forest.
🔥If Nottingham Forest keep all four of their current strikers, who should start 2026/27 as the first choice for Vitor Pereira?🤔
Balogun signing would surely mean Forest exit
With Chris Wood, Igor Jesus, Taiwo Awoniyi and Arnaud Kalimuendo set to report for pre-season at Forest, the Reds are well-stacked when it comes to strikers.
However, Balogun is perhaps a different option for the Reds to consider, given that he is capable of running in behind and also boasts a strong physical presence.
There seems to be no way that Forest will go into the next season with five strikers, and if £43 million is spent on a new one, it looks for all the world like one of the current crop will leave.
