The sooner Sean Dyche gets a new job, the better, because right now he seemingly can’t go five minutes without talking about Nottingham Forest.

Dyche was sacked by the Reds after a miserable tenure, which saw Forest move flirtatiously close to the relegation trapdoor under his tutelage.
Still, he’s seemingly keen for everybody to hear his opinions on club matters, and now Dyche has weighed in on the news that Oliver Glasner is set to join Nottingham Forest as the club’s new head coach.
🚨 OLIVER GLASNER IS REPORTEDLY SET TO BECOME THE NEW NOTTINGHAM FOREST MANAGER 🤨 – Give us your reaction
A good appointment? 🤔
Sean Dyche reacts as Oliver Glasner nears Forest move
Glasner looks set to be announced imminently as the new head coach of Nottingham Forest, with Vitor Pereira sent on his way last week.
Naturally, that has caused quite the reaction in the world of football, with Forest sacking another manager, but this time landing a bit of a coup by getting Glasner, who won the FA Cup and Conference League with Palace.
Dyche has been discussing the situation with former Forest director Jonny Owen, and he told TalkSPORT: “The style that he’s done now, does he do that at Forest?
“The demand at Forest, I had a bit of it myself, you know, we’re not playing this way, we’re not playing that way, the football was this, the football was that.
“Yet, if you look at their success, it hasn’t been 600 passes a game; they’ve found a way of operating where often that counter-attack is an option, and I know that under Nuno (Espirito Santo), the Forest fans often accepted that.
“I was there, it was different, Pereira went in; they said it was better football, but usually that implies winning. We’ve all been down that road, so that’s going to be the biggest thing for me: this style.”
Dyche comments sound bitter beyond reasoning
Ask any Forest fan, and none of them will tell you that any new manager has to make 600 passes per game – that from Dyche is just nonsense.
His little dig at the Pereira football being considered better because Forest won games is a tinge correct but Dyche’s football was only one bad thing about his tenure.
Name one Crystal Palace star you’d love to see join Glasner at Forest 👀
Dyche’s archaic knack of alienating fringe players and then bashing them over the head with a verbal tongue-lashing after playing most of them out of position in defeat to Wrexham was just wrong.
Dyche was arguably booed off more times than the number of games he won at the City Ground, and these constant snipes are growing tiresome.
Glasner is a man with whom Forest can build a genuine future, and hopefully, he shuts people like Dyche up by starting well and showcasing his quality at another Premier League club.
