There is great excitement among Nottingham Forest supporters ahead of the new season.
Oliver Glasner has taken the reins from Vitor Pereira, and there is belief that Nottingham Forest can challenge for Europe once again.
Glasner’s record in his first season is very impressive, as he won silverware for Eintracht Frankfurt and Crystal Palace in his debut campaign.
Forest fans will hope he can replicate that success at the City Ground, but there’s no doubt he will need to recruit well in the transfer market to achieve that.
With that said, we asked our TalkingPoints users which Palace star they’d love to see join Glasner at Forest.
Name one Crystal Palace star you’d love to see join Glasner at Forest 👀
Forest fans pick the Palace player they’d love to join Glasner this summer
Replying to the TalkingPoints above and on our X page, Forest supporters picked out several Crystal Palace stars who they think would be a good fit at the City Ground.
There was a common trend for Dean Henderson and Daniel Munoz, who would be a super replacement for Nicolo Savona, who looks set to depart.
- “Dean Henderson, of course.”
- “Henderson for competition for Sels.”
- “Ismaila Sarr I think.”
- “Wouldn’t mind Mateta or Strand Larsen but if we can get a better striker, I’m not so fussed on anyone from there.”
- “Would like Munoz.”
- “Lacroix or Munoz.”
- “Adam Wharton.”
Palace fans weren’t too happy to see their players linked with a move to the Tricky Trees, but a couple of them do feel Jean-Philippe Mateta and Daichi Kamada (currently a free agent) would be realistic targets.
- “The only realistic ones are either Mateta or Kamada.”
- “It wouldn’t surprise me if you signed Mateta and Kamada.”
Kamada, in particular, would be a very feasible deal to do, as his Palace contract expired on the 1st of July.
The 29-year-old is currently available to talk to other clubs and sign on a free transfer, although Palace are trying to tie him down to a new deal.
