What type of player is Amondarain?

Amondarain uses his height really well as he’s dominant in the air and acts as a good defensive shield to the back four.

The 2005-born can operate as a box-to-box midfielder, but most of his games last term came as a number six.

He actually operated as a right winger on a few occasions, so Forest may be targeting him due to his versatility.

Amondarain has an 86.3% pass completion rate on FotMob, evincing his proficiency in possession of the ball.

Fill in the gap: Ibrahim Sangare has been a __/10 signing for Forest?

How much would Amondarain cost?

Well, La Liga outfit Real Betis have previously had a £5.1m bid rejected for Amondarain, so clearly Estudiantes will be looking for a fee in excess of that figure.

Estudiantes’ record sale is Juan Foyth, who joined Tottenham Hotspur in a deal worth around £8.9m in 2017.

So, it’s likely that Forest would be able to land his signature for less than £10m, which makes it a very feasible deal to do.
