Bournemouth are set to complete the signing of Nottingham Forest linked Siriki Dembele, according to the Bournemouth Echo. The player is close to signing for the promotion-chasing outfit after agreeing on a few with Peterborough.
Dembele, 25, will cost the Cherries a bargain £1.5 million and he could be one of many new signings at the Vitality Stadium today.
Forest were linked with a move for Dembele during the summer. Then, he was valued at £4 million, with Rangers and Celtic also considering a move, as per Football Insider.

The youngster has scored five goals and claimed two assists during 2021/22. Peterborough are facing a real fight for survival and losing Dembele isn’t ideal.
At £1.5 million it’s surprising that Forest weren’t in the mix. Clearly, Steve Cooper has some other irons in the fire ahead of tonight’s transfer deadline.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Dembele has enjoyed a decent three-and-a-half-years at London Road. He helped the club win promotion last season and in 147 appearances, he’s scored 30 goals and registered 30 assists.
Now, he will likely sign a long-term contract with Bournemouth and next season he could find himself playing Premier League football.
For Forest, they will hope to get their own business right ahead of tonight’s deadline.
Regret: Forest could rue not signing Dembele
The Posh star might have been ideal for Forest. He plays in a number of positions and his versatility would have made him perfect for Cooper’s squad.
Forest won’t be signing Dembele now. He’s set for Bournemouth and ultimately it’s a great move for the player.

- FANS: Supporters rave about Forest man
Against Forest in December, the player’s trickery caused the Reds all sorts of problems and he actually missed Peterborough’s best chance of the contest.
Cooper will hope to get a couple of deals done today. One of them won’t be Dembele, however, and, as a result, Forest may now wonder what might have been.
